RACE CONTRIBUTION IN CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) ASSET
Education is a fundamental human right that should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or location. In India, access to quality education has been a significant challenge for many years, with many children dropping out of school due to factors such as lack of infrastructure and resources, access to quality education, or family responsibilities.
Statistical reports shows that the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) for primary education in India is 99.1%. However, the enrollment rate is lower in rural areas and for children from economically weaker sections. Also, the dropout rates are higher for children from families not having adequate resources.
The government of India has taken various initiatives to improve the education system for children from low-income groups. Some of these initiatives include the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, the Mid-Day Meal Scheme, and the National Program for Education of Girls at Elementary Level.
While the government has made significant efforts to improve education for children from low-income groups, there is still a long way to go. More efforts are needed to ensure that children from low-income families have access to quality education and the resources needed to succeed. However, educating these children is crucial for their betterment and empowerment. Also, it will play a crucial role in breaking the cycle of poverty.
By providing quality education to children in rural India, RACE can empower them to pursue their dreams, create opportunities for themselves and their families, and contribute to the growth and development of their communities. Education and skill development can also help to bridge the gap between urban and rural areas and promote inclusive growth. ASSET (ABHAY Sponsorship on Skill Development & Education for Tomorrow) is an initiative taken up by Race to support and enrich the livelihood of each person associated with waste management. Race is helping children in getting education and encouraging talents by providing them with the support they need to fulfil their dreams and aspirations. ASSET will not only help to improve the educational outcomes of children but also contribute towards building a more equitable and inclusive society.

E2E (Educate to Empower) 🪴

Moreover, education promotes social and cultural awareness, encourages tolerance, and promotes diversity, helping to build a more inclusive and cohesive society. Education also plays a crucial role in advancing science, technology, and innovation, which are essential for economic growth and progress. Finally, education is a fundamental human right that should be accessible to all, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, religion, or socio-economic status.
S3 (Starlight Starship Scholars) 🪴
The Starlight Starship Scholars program is a financial assistance initiative that provides funds to support students in their academic pursuits. It will be awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, leadership potential, or other exceptional qualities. The goal of scholarship programs is to make education more accessible to deserving students who might not otherwise have the financial means to pursue higher education. By providing financial support to students, scholarship programs help to reduce the burden of student debt, promote educational attainment, and support the development of skilled and talented individuals who can contribute to the betterment of society. Through ASSET, RACE will be providing support and resources to the students to aspire to learn and grow so that they can make their future in different fields of study (eg: Robotics/Aeronautics).
TTPP (Turning Talent to Profession Program) 🪴
Turning talent into a profession involves leveraging one’s natural abilities and interests to pursue a career that aligns with their passions and strengths. It requires identifying and developing the skills and knowledge required to excel in a particular field or industry. This process involves self-reflection, career exploration, and skill-building, often through education and training. By turning their talent into a profession, individuals can pursue careers that are fulfilling and rewarding, and that enable them to make meaningful contributions to society.
TTPP will help children aged between 10-17 yrs., in extracurricular activities like sports, music, dance, art etc. RACE will encourage children to pursue their talent and help them to get all the necessary training and resources to grow and excel.
