RACE CONTRIBUTION IN CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) ASSET
Statistical reports shows that the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) for primary education in India is 99.1%. However, the enrollment rate is lower in rural areas and for children from economically weaker sections. Also, the dropout rates are higher for children from families not having adequate resources.
The government of India has taken various initiatives to improve the education system for children from low-income groups. Some of these initiatives include the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, the Mid-Day Meal Scheme, and the National Program for Education of Girls at Elementary Level.
While the government has made significant efforts to improve education for children from low-income groups, there is still a long way to go. More efforts are needed to ensure that children from low-income families have access to quality education and the resources needed to succeed. However, educating these children is crucial for their betterment and empowerment. Also, it will play a crucial role in breaking the cycle of poverty.
By providing quality education to children in rural India, RACE can empower them to pursue their dreams, create opportunities for themselves and their families, and contribute to the growth and development of their communities. Education and skill development can also help to bridge the gap between urban and rural areas and promote inclusive growth. Therefore, it is essential to invest in education and skill development to provide equal opportunities for all children in India to access quality education.
